A message from Owen's Zone Leaders:
"Greetings to the Huff family! Elder Huff is an excellent missionary, we're so happy to have him here in the zone. He works hard and loves the people. His Spanish is improving very rapidly, we're proud of him and grateful that you were able to send him out here on the mission. Don't forget to pray for him!

Today was a good p-day, we wrote our letters in the morning because we wanted to do a bunch of stuff today. We played soccer with all the Elders from Bagua Chica, and that was good. Then we ate lunch and played Uno, and then we were chillin. Later we went with a member in our branch to this lookout point that was super pretty. It was like a mini volcano-looking thing in the middle of a giant valley, with a cross on the top. We hiked up these stair cases that went all the way up, so that was pretty cool. Afterwards we went out and got our slushies like always, you know how it be. It was a good day, love you all.

Hey fam, this week has been pretty good. We have been working, and today we had intercambios, or exchanges. I directed our area today, and it was so nice to decide all of the things that we did. I was with Elder Espinosa, the Elder who was in the Policia in Columbia. He is leaving the mission in about 2 weeks at the end of this cambio, and it was interesting to see how he acts. He's working hard still, so that's good, and we were able to teach some really good lessons today. We have been kind of struggling to have investigators that are actually progressing, but today we taught some really good lessons to some great families. Honestly I have been kind of wondering when these people are gonna start feeling the Spirit because the people aren't getting answers, but today Elder Espinosa shared his testimony of the Church. He's a convert, he was born in the Catholic church, and he said that when the missionaries came to his house when he was 15, they told him to ask God if this message was true. He did that, and he said he felt nothing like he had ever felt before. That brought me back to my own conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ, because I've felt that too, a feeling like nothing else in the world. And I realized that all of these investigators need to feel that too to be converted. Sometimes things get crazy, and you forget the basics of why you're here. I'm here to love the people enough to testify of repentance and baptism and to help them feel the Spirit. That is all. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth, because I got my answer, and today I was speaking with the gift of tongues in our lessons. The lord gives us the miracles after the trial of our faith. Love you all gn.

Today we were guided by the Lord, for real. We were teaching people and proselyting and talking to everyone and it was a normal day, and we went to this new investigators' house to teach. She wasn't there, and we were about to leave when across the street I saw a lady sticking her head out of her door. She was holding an old Book of Mormon, and she was dusting it off because it was super old. Elder Moran was like, 'Are you serious, she really has a Book of Mormon??' So it turns out she had met with other missionaries 4 years earlier, she had pictures of them and everything, and back then she was going through a hard time, and they came to her door. And now, her daughter died a month ago, and she's going through a hard time again and we showed up. God gives us the miracle after the trial of our faith, and we witnessed a miracle to find this family today. We are really being lead by the Spirit. Love you all.

First of all, happy b-day to my brother Sam. Love you so much bro, I hope everything is good at home, and hope everything is good in your life. I remember when I was 17, like a year ago ahahaha, but it was so good. You're gonna remember these next couple years for the rest of your life, so be careful, but also go crazy. Love you my brother, and I hope this next year goes great for you. Remember where your blessings come from. Love you.

Everything is so good here, we have been teaching the grand-daughters of Hermana Herlinda. We have been reading the Book of Mormon with them every day at breakfast, and they're getting baptized this week. I love this work. Love you all.
