WEEK 52: Remigio Silva
October 2, 2019
Today we found some really good people to teach. We found a single mom with two kids, and also an 18 year old that was interested, and we invited everyone to baptism. Yesterday we were in Intercambios and I was with Elder Garcia. He was the Secratario when I arrived in the mission 11 months ago, and now he is going home. We also had a trainers meeting today and we ate Pizza Hut. I love this mission so much, I don't ever want to leave.

We watched General Conference today, and it was all really good. There were some great talks for visitors and those learning about the gospel, like how Elder Uchtdorf talked about coming and joining the Church. All of the talks were just really great.
This week we found a ton of people to teach. We found a great family and they came to General Conference, all three of them. We have been working all week trying to get people to come to General Conference. We have been teaching them about the Prophet and always talking about him and giving testimony that he is God's prophet. My love for him has really grown and I was so excited to hear him speak this Conference. I've never listened to General Conference like I have in the mission.
We are seeing miracles happening here, but also, there are always let-downs too. However, I've found an inner peace that I don't know I've ever had before. I know that if I do all I can for these people, God will make up the difference and will give us success. But we have to do literally everything in our power, and God will change and help the things that are out of our control.
We found a family of six today, and they were all asking soul questions. We presented the Book of Mormon to them, and they were all really excited to read it. I love teaching families about how they can be Together Forever. Every time I teach about the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my testimony grows stronger about Joseph Smith and the First Vision. The First Vision is something that is pretty crazy. That is one of the differences between us and a lot of other churches, that man has seen God in our day. I know this is all true, I feel it every time I teach about it.
