WEEK 69: LAMBAYEQUE

January 28, 2020

Today we had District Council, and it was really edifying. We also found some really chosen people to teach today, and we are going to see them progress in these next few weeks.

Elder Navarrete has less than 20 days left, or something like that, to finish his mission, so we're finding probably the last people that he's going to see get converted to the Church.

Tomorrow we are going to go up to Olmos, the area that is the farthest away, and we are going to do Divisions there. The Zone is looking a lot better, and we really are blessed for our efforts and sincerity.

Today we witnessed a miracle. We've been having a really hard time finding people that want to learn and progress. We have been teaching some people who seem amazing at first, but then they lose interest in progressing or keeping commitments. But we found a family who has cousins that are members of the church, and their daughter of 12 years wants to get baptized. We found this family like nothing, and we are really grateful for the opportunity to teach them.

We changed our p-day to tomorrow (Tuesday) to go to this famous museum, and tomorrow is also the Zone plan, where you make plans and goals as a Zone. Not much else has happened here, we're just working on getting better as a Zone. We're still trying to teach Kevin, so I really hope that he gets his answers and decides to get baptized real soon.

Our relationship with the Savior grows stronger when we focus on others and serve them.
