WEEK 74: Lambayeque
March 3, 2020
Today we had the consejo de lideres (council of leaders), and it was awesome. I've made a lot of plans and actions that we're going to put into practice to see more results. We were looking for more people to teach today, and there was pretty much nothing. But then we found this family that was really open to the gospel message, so that was cool.

Today we had a couple of people in church, but we've been working really hard to find people. And today God gave us a lot of success, we found some amazing people. We've been doing everything we can to find new people to teach, visiting members and asking for references, knocking on so many doors. But finally we're finding the people that are open and receptive to the Spirit.
I was really struck by the faith and humility of this one lady we met yesterday, and we were able to teach her today. She's a single mother with three kids, and we were talking about how we are here to help people be baptized into the true Church, and she just wanted to learn, and she was really willing to get baptized. She is really awesome. So, this hermana was saying the last prayer, and she had a little baby in her arms crying super loud, and her other two kids were playing and breaking things, and she was literally praying for us, two young people who came to her house to share a gospel message with her. She has so many difficulties and I was thinking about how hard of a life that must be, and to think that she was praying for us. That was something that really reflected the Savior's love. I'm trying to develop more of that love.
